About Us

Falling Moon Studio is a simple basement workshop where I, my husband Steve, and two loyal assistants work together. We are not open to the public but welcome the occasional visit by appointment.  Always interested in art, I've explored many different media from fabric to wood.  Wanting to create work more whimsical than functional, I found kaleidoscopes and snow globes.  They offer me limitless artistic possibilities as well as a few engineering challenges to keep me on my toes.  They also allow me to use stained glass and polymer clay.  Stained glass and kaleidoscopes feed that part of my soul fired up by color and light.  Polymer clay is a media that captured me the first moment I touched it.  Once cured it can withstand water, making it perfect for snow globes.  I can also blend, sculpt, carve or paint it to create unique kaleidoscopes.  Add in beads, fiber, metal and found objects....

There are examples of my work on this website.  Though many of them are already sold, if you see something you like I would be happy to create your own unique version!  Or you can visit me at one of the Art & Craft shows in my schedule to see what's new.

If you have a question or special request, please send an email.
