The interiors of all the globes are sculpted entirely of polymer clay. The bases may be painted, covered with clay or found objects. Polymer clay is an amazing media. It can be blended, sculpted and carved to look like just about anything. Once it's cured it can withstand water making it perfect for snow globes. I also enjoy using it to create unique kaleidoscopes. Some petite scopes sit on their own sculpted bases while others have pictures I've painted using liquid polymer clay that has been tinted with oil paints.
